On Thursday, October 28^th at 5:20pm the North Massapequa Fire Department was alerted for a General Alarm Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) on the Southern State Parkway with possible extrication, East of Exit 31, westbound. On arrival of Chief Brosnan, he transmitted a confirmed MVA with one car on top of the other.

The driver the bottom vehicle was able to get out of the car herself, but the driver fo the SUV had to be helped out by the crew of 667. The two (2) drivers were best friends following one another and the lead driver was forced to stop short. Both drivers were transported to the Emergency Room for evaluation.
