Medical Services

The North Massapequa Fire Department provides an emergency medical service by ambulance to the residents of the North Massapequa Fire District 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We respond to over 600 rescue calls per year. The department has several state certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Advanced Medical Technicians (AMT) and Paramedics to handle the various types of medical emergencies that occur year round.

The Department uses 2 state of the art New York State Certified ambulances to handle everything from a broken toe to a severe trauma or cardiac arrest. Both firehouses in the district have an ambulance which responds to all emergency calls.
